Samstag Sales is offering this LANG Tools universal TDC Top Dead Center whistle with spark plug threads. The whistle is attached to a hose with 14mm and 18mm spark plug threads. Screw it into a spark plug hole and slowly turn the engine over by hand. It starts whistling at the compression stroke and stops whistling at approximately Top Dead Center. You will then need to inspect your timing marks to set the engine to the exact top dead center. This is LANG tool number TU-18C. The overall length is
(27-1/2" ) inches. LANG tools was formally known as KASTAR. They have been making tools since 1929.
NOTE:
The engine must be turned slowly by hand. DO
NOT
use the starter to turn over the engine! DO

leave in a running engine.
