The spring compressor tool is suitable for quickly and safely compressing the springs of MacPherson struts and can also be used to repair bent struts, strut tubes and damaged folds.
Forged hooks and hardened centre screws, heat-treated forcing screws and safety latches to lock the hooks to the springs.
When using the Spring Shock Strut Compressor, take care to apply even pressure on both sides.
Using a 1/2" Drive ratchet wrench or 22mm socket turn the main shaft compressing the strut spring enough to safely remove the fastener nut holding the cartridge.
There is a sturdy and durable plastic case for organising and carrying the tool.

Installation Steps:
Lubricate both spindles with oil.
Align the hooks with the safety pins so that the hooks will fit over the springs.
Position the two sets of hooks 180° relative to each other.
Push the safety lock into the locked position of the hooks.
Use a socket and ratchet to turn the spindle and compress the strut spring enough to safely remove the fastener nut holding the barrel in place.
