    Description

The program associated with this patch remains obscure, but its symbolism provides a number of clues. Overall, the patch strongly suggests a signal intelligence (SIGINT) spacecraft. Dragons have long been associated with SIGINT launches, and the dragon's wings underline the connection (golden dragon wings often symbolize the massive gold-foil dish antennae characteristic of SIGINT spacecraft). Moreover, the red arrow's trajectory suggests a Molniya orbit similar to the JUMPSEAT and TRUMPET spacecraft. In the visual language of classified space launch patches, stars often represent the number of spacecraft in a given lineage or "constellation". The stars here suggest that this spacecraft is being added to a preexisting constellation of five other craft with similar missions. The meanings of the red point in Asia and the snake-like figure in the lower part of the patch are unclear, although the cobra may refer to a "COBRA"- series sensor platform related to other SIGINT technologies such as  "COBRA BRASS", "COBRA BALL", and "COBRA JUDY". The Latin phrase Omnis Vestri Substructio Es Servus Ad Nobis recalls a 2001-2002 internet meme from a poorly translated Japanese video game: "All Your Base Are Belong To Us". In the opening dialog of the game, an operator says, "We get signal".
This brand new patch is 4" in diameter is made of 100% embroidery and features a plastic backing. This patch comes from the recently published book "I Could Tell You Then You Would Have To Be Destroyed By Me."
