Note#3: I picked up this squadron patch while on active duty with the USAF
Note#4: Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, West Germany was an active duty installation from 1945 to 1993
Color Unit Patches came off the USAF utility uniforms during the late 1970s
After mid 1985 Color patches were worn only on Duty Flight Suites & Flight Jackets
Subdued unit patches started appearing on USAF utility uniforms during the early 1980s
In 2007 USAF prohibited unit patches on the Airman Battle Uniforms (ABU)
As of 2018 the USAF has adopted the U.S. Army Operational Camouflage Pattern
(OCP) Uniform, authorizing subdued unit patches once again
Group was operational from 1986 to 1991
